ArkanSalsa 5k, Fun Run and Walk

Come run, walk and explore the Razorback Regional Greenway while raising money for an excellent cause in One Community's ArkanSalsa Festival. Set for Saturday, Oct. 17, the 5k route will take in the beautiful fall foliage north of downtown Springdale. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with both races starting at 9 a.m. from Shiloh Square in downtown Springdale. Entry fees are $20 for the 5k and $10 for the 1-mile route. This annual trail run takes participants through some of the most beautiful fall leaves they'll see in Arkansas. There are 10k and 20k runs, along with an after party. The City of Rogers will open its new bike jump park, the Railyard, on Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. The park is the only one of its kind for hundreds of miles, rivaling the nation's top parks. This event hosted by Fayetteville City Parks Department has something for all runners with three different race options. Spend a cool Sunday exploring three different city parks in your running shoes.
