Greenway to the LPGA

greenway to lpga

Join in the first organized bike ride to the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship at Pinnacle Hills Country Club in Rogers. The LPGA Tour event draws the world’s top female golfers for a three-day event won last year by Northwest Arkansas’ own Stacy Lewis. The first 100 adult riders to sign up for the ride get free passes to the day’s tournament. Admission for children age 17 and younger is always free.

The ride will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bentonville Downtown Activity Center, 215 S.W. A St., and follow the Razorback Regional Greenway. Expect a 15-mile, round-trip ride. For those who want a shorter ride, a second group will join in at Horsebarn Park in Rogers at approximately 9:30 a.m. This ride will be about 5 miles round trip. Bike parking will be available in the VIP parking area at John Q. Hammons Convention Center, with a shuttle bus transporting riders to the country club. A guided return trip will begin at 2 p.m., though riders are welcome to leave before or later for a self-guided ride.

Riders can sign up for their free day pass here. Only riders aged 18 and older need register. Have questions? Email me at misty@nwacouncil.org.
